That's me with a famous Hawaiian ukulele player. I've been working the uke for about 6 months. I'm hoping focused study with Matt will improve my musicality to the point where I'm no longer working the uke, but will sound like I'm playing it. I'm located in Westminster.... not the UK one, but just outside of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. I've loved music since I was a kid and my Dad gifted me a cassette player and The Beatles "Revolver" tape when I was eight. I enjoy music of all types, and that's something that draws me to the ukulele... the instrument's versatility and ability to allow even journeymen musicians have a go at a wide variety of music and genres.

I have a wonderful wife that encourages me and tells me that I sound good on the Uke just because she loves me. I also have a 10 year old rescued Havanese dog named Hemingway who is the only other groupie that will tolerate me.
