Matt P (another Matt!) who runs the Awesome Adalucian Ukulele Adventure has a special offer on last minute places this year. I'll be teaching there the whole time and I can heartily recommend it. I taught there last year and it was absolutely delightful from start to finish. I can't say this enough - the location, views and food are all incredible, plus you get tuition from little old me and Matt. There's a swimming pool and I'll even take you butterfly spotting too and I'll bring along some of Laurie Lee's writing about Andalucia so we can have a reading each night.

It is four nights and three days (20th to 24th May) of ukulele fun in Gaucín (Andalucía, Spain) with me and Matt Parkin (Awesome Ukulele Academy). The emphasis is on performance and playing in a group, culminating with a show at the Gaucín Open Mic on Saturday.

This retreat is aimed at beginner/intermediate players but, as we are playing in a group, more advanced players that want support with performance would be welcome (email me if you're uncertain).

Hosted in a converted olive mill in the heart of the village, these retreats are always great fun with a real community feel. As we are only a month away, Matt P has dropped the price to £1,180 from £1,480 for a beautiful, sole-occupancy, half-board room for the REMAINING FIVE PLACES. 

The group eats together at least once a day on the terrace at the accommodation (see photos) - Lucy´s (the chef) food is amazing - the veggie options are always superb (I know - I am one! The panancotta Lucy made last year is the best desert I've ever had. I had three of them!!)

The local bars and restaurants are great too. With views to Africa, great weather, a pool, superb food - and of course ukuleles! - what could be better!?!!!
