Bringing our ukulele community together
Hi everyone,
Over the past few years our Learn Ukulele community has grown in a really lovely way. We now have thousands of players learning together across the website, YouTube, live sessions and our Facebook group.
One thing I’ve been thinking about recently is how to make the community feel more connected and easier to keep up with.
At the moment conversations happen in a few different places — the website forum, the Facebook student group, emails and comments — and that can sometimes mean people miss great discussions or helpful answers.
So I’m considering bringing all our community chat together in one place — the Learn Ukulele With Matt – Student Community Facebook group.
The idea is simple:
- One lively place to ask questions- Share your playing and progress- Encourage each other- Chat about ukuleles and music
Many of you are already active there and it has become a really warm, supportive space.
If we do move in this direction, the courses, lessons and worksheets will of course stay exactly where they are on the website — this would only affect the forum discussions. Ask Matt will still be available for members (and video submissions etc.)
Nothing is changing immediately, but I wanted to let you know my thinking and hear your thoughts.
If you’re not already in the group, you can join here:

(You don't need to set up a whole Facebook profile if you don't like that kind of thing - I know not everyone loved FB. Just sign up for free with a basic account and your name.)
As always, thank you for helping make this such a kind and encouraging community.
Music is better when we play together!
Much love, Matt

Hi Matt, I’d like to cancel my membership please. I don’t see how to do that. Thx Debbie Caldarelli
