Hi Matt. Please forgive me if I’ve posted this in the wrong place.
After working through the beginners and intermediate courses, I recently began your “escape the plateau” course. I admit that lesson 1 did me in. I just can’t get these old fingers to make all those chord shapes that make up “Autumn Leaves”. I have not tried lesson 2 onwards.
I have a silver membership.
I know “some theory, some finger style techniques, but no Beatles stuff. What do you recommend and what do I need to do to upgrade so that all your courses would be available to me. I think you know I especially like chord melody challenges as I sing like an animal in pain…it ain’t pretty.
Would you recommend I keep exploring the “Escape the Plateau” course or give up on that and try something new…and if so what would the cost be?

Hi Ted, I'd have a look at some of the free Fingerstyle videos and if you like them try signing up to that course as I go deep into a lot of techniques. Remember that not everyone can do everything - some people can do those jazz chords easily but struggle with rhythm or picking and for others it's totally the other way around. Not all the course uses tricky barre chords. Cheers, Matt
