How To Practise Ukulele Without Practising!

Ever feel like you should practise ukulele… but just don’t have the energy or motivation? This time of year I always find my energy waning a little so I thought I’d make a lesson to help in case that’s true for you too!
In this lesson, I’ll show you how to get better at ukulele without “proper” practice.
These are simple, playful musical games you can do when you’ve only got 5 minutes, a tired brain, or just don’t feel like a full session.
We’ll look at things like:
– Noodling in a key – Rhythm practice with real music – Soloing by ear (no scales required!) – Musical mindfulness – Creative “what if?” games – And lots more
The goal isn’t discipline – it’s curiosity and play. If it feels like fun, your brain learns faster.
Perfect for:
Beginners who feel overwhelmed
Intermediate players stuck in a rut
Anyone who wants to enjoy playing more
What you’ll learn:
– How to practise ukulele in short, low-pressure ways – How to improve your ear without studying theory – How to build creativity and confidence – How to stay motivated without burnout
Question What’s your favourite way to “practise without practising”? Let me know in the comments!
