Hi Kate, we are the newbies then! I have carried over some bad habits from my 50 years of untrained guitar playing. I always play “thumb over”, which I find useful on guitar for damping the E string. I don’t think I can change now, but, so far, it’s not a problem for my uke playing. I started on the intermediate course and whilst some of the content is a bit easy, there is always something useful in each lesson. The triplet lesson is really useful.
