Alex at SUS did a YouTube video on Guadeloupe hand crafted silk strings.
A silk strand core wrapped in a nylon filament.
I like silk & steel for finger picking guitar
Has anyone used these strings on their ukulele. What are the gauges of each string.
It’s never mentioned, doesn’t seem to be quoted anywhere

I’ve had them on a couple of ukes but I find having that many wound strings makes it a bit scratchy sounding. If I remember rightly the whole set I had were wound. I can’t remember whatcha gauges are. I bet Alex at Southern Ukes would know.
